A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program; Will be required to complete CPR certification and maintain recertification. Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in oxygen transport, set-up and regulation of oxygen flow. Under general supervision, and according to established policies, procedures and practices, transports admissions and patients throughout the LCMH facilities using wheelchairs and carts. Follows established procedures for transporting patients on oxygen, regulates oxygen flow according to procedure, provides appropriate charting. Sets up oxygen in patient rooms where piped in oxygen is unavailable. Instructs new employees regarding oxygen transport procedures. Processes computer order for proper charging. |
