Requires graduation from an approved school of physical therapy or accredited university with a certificate in occupational therapy. Must possess current occupational therapy license in the State of Illinois. Experience as an occupational therapist in a hospital setting preferred. Provides treatments to patients of all ages to prevent, lessen, or overcome disabilities. Evaluates, plans, directs and administers occupational therapy upon referral by a licensed physician, dentist, podiatrist, physician assistant or advanced practice nurse. This is a Registry position, therefore you work only as needed. |
