A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a Registered Nursing program from an approved school. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois. Will be required to complete CPR certification and maintain recertification. Three years of work experience as a Registered nurse in a healthcare environment. Assists the Manager, Patient Care Services in the management, clinical practice and the staff development activities on a patient care unit. Provides managerial support and resource for staff. Renders professional nursing services in support of medical care. Ten percent of time is spent on department administrative duties. May be called upon to work a different shift, as needed by the unit. |
