High school graduate with completion of a Surgical Tech program. Requires CFA or CSTFA Certification from the National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA) or other qualified program. Will be requried to complete CPR certification and maintain re-certification. Requies 2 years scrubbing in a CFA/CSTFA capacity in surgery. The job requires knowledge of and competency in performing assessments, treatments and techniques utilized within an assigned clinical area. Provides assistance to the surgeon in the performance of surgical procedures. |
